I don’t know about you but one of my greatest fears while cooking is to serve meats that are not cooked to the right degree of doneness. Spending hours preparing a delicious spread only to serve guests under-cooked meat and then sending them home feeling ill would be an absolute nightmare.

Heading over to the post right now. This is a skill that every cook should have. I spent years cutting into my meat too see if it was properly cooked, releasing all of the beautiful juices in the process.

Excellent tips! I always do the fingertip test, but go mostly by feel and not by switching fingers. I love your method, and it's an easy way to explain it to others!
