When we toured our home last August, I fell in love with it at first sight. I knew that the house had to be our home. It had to be the home where we raised our kids. It had to be the home where we created countless memories. The house was our dream home.
But, with that being said, the house also needed work to change it into our home. As owning a home goes, the work is never done, right? From the green counters to the cabinet over the stove to the kitchen cabinets to the carpets … the house that we deemed our dream home need special changes and touches to truly make it our home.
Over the past few months, we have tackled the kitchen countertops and cabinets, carpet flooring, wall decor, furniture … the list could go on and on. One of the next projects involves the bathrooms. The paint colors are a beautiful tan and spot on with our decor style (thank you, previous homeowners and realtor who encouraged them to paint the walls a neutral color). But, I have to admit that we have seashell sinks in our bathrooms. I know some people might be a fan of this style of sink. However, walk into our home and you’ll quickly notice that the design doesn’t quite match our style.
So, needless to say, I’ve been eager to switch out the countertops and sinks with something a bit more pleasing to our style preferences. In other words, Pinterest has been my go to source for inspiration. Here’s my bathroom design inspiration:
