What were the biggest food trends of 2015? Well, according to Eater, they took a look at Google Trends and discovered some enlightening little tidbits.
So, what was the winner in 2015? Avocado toast. Fried chicken came up third in the list. Next? Cold brews. Anyone care for a cup of cold brewed coffee to go with their avocado toast? Sign me up.
From kale salads and coconut water to vegetarian/paleo/gluten-free entrees and juice cleanses, the year of 2015 was full of food trends that might continue in 2016. But, I have a feeling that many of us would love to say “bye bye” to some of these trends as we make room for new trends to enter the scene.
What will those trends be this year? LANE PR’s food and beverage team surveyed leading experts in the food and beverage industries to find out what will trend this year.
