Last night, I was quartering potatoes to make our favorite Old Bay potato dish. Yes, we now live in Maryland and have fully embraced Old Bay. We put it on everything.
While I was cutting countless potatoes, I thought to myself, “I need to share this tip.” What tip, do you ask?
Here’s my favorite cutting board tip. Ready for it?
My Favorite Cutting Board Tip
Dampen a cloth towel or a paper towel. Place the damp towel under the cutting board.

And there you have it. My short, sweet, and favorite cutting board tip.
So, the next time you have some chopping, quartering, or slicing to do, break out a damp paper towel, a cutting board, and sharp knife and get to work as you efficiently and safely slice and dice.
