We wake up in the mornings to chilly temperatures, spend as much time as we can during the day soaking up the sun and warm weather, and then turn in for the night when the evening hours get a chill in the air.
During this transition from summer to fall, it can be a bit tricky trying to stay warm during the morning and evening hours while trying to stay cool during the warm afternoon hours.
How do I manage to stay cool and warm? I love throwing on jeans and a t-shirt with some sandals during the morning. That combination not only helps me get out the door quickly when I need to drop off my son at school, it also keeps me warm enough during the morning and cool enough during the afternoon.
As for the warm afternoon hours, there’s nothing like stealing a bit of me time when the kids are napping. I don’t have much time to dedicate to me time throughout the week. But, when I can find a few minutes, I put a few scoops of sweet tea ice cream in a bowl, turn on some music, and head to our screened-in porch to get a bit of fresh air. The ice cream, music, and fresh air are the perfect combination to help me get balanced both mentally and physically. It truly is a great way to create #MomentstoSavor.
